What is AutoFind & QuickSweep Technologies?

AutoFind Technology:
AutoFind Technology is the latest technology that is used in our LEXIUM FastAlign 7100Pro satellite meter.

The meter is fully programmable with LNB LO Frequencies, satellite names, transponder frequencies, symbol rate, polarization, and FEC of any satellite world wide.

Using the pre-programmed frequencies, symbol rate, polarization, and FEC of each transponder, the satellite meter takes the signal that is received from your satellite dish relays it to the signal processor of the satellite meter and it's decoded.  If the signal received matches any of the transponder frequencies that are programmed in the meter, the meter will quickly display the signal quality and the name of the satellite that the transponder(s) are programmed under.  This process will normally take only a fraction of a second, so you don't have to worry about swinging your dish from one satellite to another and missing the targeted satellite, all thanks to the QuickSweep Technology available in the LEXIUM line of professional C and Ku band satellite meters.

So what's the benefit of AutoFind Technology?
Besides the fact that it displays the name of the satellite that your dish is currently pointing to, making it easier for even the most novice satellite installer to install a satellite dish antenna, it makes it much easier by taking out the guess work when you want to locate your targeted satellite.  Here is now:  If you know about the satellite arch (Click the below image

you know that most satellites are located approximately 25000-30000 miles (40000-50000km) above the earth in the shape of an arc.

Now that you know that, let's say for example, that you want to point your dish to the satellite located at 101 degrees west (your targeted satellite)according to the picture above.   While moving your dish around, if your meter displays the name of a satellite located at 105 degrees, you can use that satellite as a point of reference and know that  you have to move your dish east (left) a little bit and lock into the 101 degree satellite.  Or if your meter displays the name of the satellite located at 97 degrees west, then you can use that as a point of reference and know that you have to move your dish west (right) just a little bit to locate and lock into the satellite located at 101 degrees (your targeted satellite.

This will save you time every time you want to install a satellite dish.  Other meters on the market do not give you a point of reference, taking longer to lock in your signal to your targeted satellite because you don't know if you have to move the dish right (west) or left (east).

Now you can make an educated decision on which meter you want to purchase for your satellite installation business!

QuickSweep Technology:
The QuickSweep technology is used inside every LEXIUM satellite meter finder.

This refers to the quick turn around time between the time that your dish locks onto the targeted satellite signal and the time that it's displayed on the meter screen.  This is made possible by the super fast processor and decoder used inside all LEXIUM line of professional satellite meters.

What is the benefit of QuickSweep Technology?
As you may have experienced with other meter with slower processors, usually, you have to move your dish very slowly, or move and stop, move and stop, in order to allow the meter to process the signal it receives, and turn around and display it on the screen.  This sometimes can take up to 3 or 4 seconds.  3 or 4 seconds may not seem like a long time, when you consistantly move your dish in order to try and lock into your targeted satellite signal, you may very easily pass your targeted satellite without getting a reading on the meter.   This will waste your valuable time every time you try to do a satellite installation quickly and move to your next installation job, not to mention it can be very frustrating.

So again you see the benefit of using a LEXIUM professional satellite meter!

When it comes to meters, the choice is clear.  Rely on the best by using a LEXIUM satellite meter finder for your installation business regardless of where you are located around the world, in any continent, in any country!
